How to Play

Play Pushing Blocks online for free. Pushing Blocks is a simple 40-level Sokoban variant. Your goal is to push the blocks in the level to the spaces marked with targets. Unlike other Sokoban games, you do not need to plan a path for a worker. Select a block, then select the direction it should go. The block will move in the direction you select until it reaches the end of the level or runs into another object. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

On the welcome screen, select the play button to begin.
Select the enlarge button on the top left corner to switch between windowed and full screen modes.
Select the X button to close the game’s tab. Do this only when you’re done with the game.
Your web browser automatically saves your game progress.

    - Left click on the arrows to push the box to a specific direction.

        Tap a box to select it.
        Tap on an arrow to push the box in a specific direction.
        Controls and indicators
        Top row (left to right):
        Hamburger button: Exits the level and brings you back to the welcome screen
        Level number
        X button
        Bottom left corner:
        Reset button: Starts the level from the beginning
        Game Play
        Levels
        Levels are unlocked sequentially.
        Only the first level is playable at the start of the game.
        Finish one level to unlock the next one.
        Use walls to have the block stop at specific rows.
        You can replay any of the levels you’ve unlocked.
        There are 40 levels in this game.
        Basic rules
        Push the boxes to the targets.
        Boxes can only move in straight lines up or down.
        Boxes move continuously until a wall or block stops them.
        Unlike other sokoban games, there is no person pushing the boxes who needs a clear path to get to where he needs to go. You don’t need to worry about that.
        You clear the level when all the boxes are in the targets.
        To move, a block must have empty space next to it.
        You can use walls to stop a block where you want it to go.
        Avoid pushing boxes into a corner.
        When you finish the level, you can share the game and your progress on Facebook or Twitter if you want.

        The game has no adult themed content.
