How to Play

Play LEGO Movie 2 General Mayhem Attacks online for free. This is a simple 7-stage running game where you help LEGO minifigures jump over holes in the ground & avoid things General Mayhem throws at them. Beat all 7 levels while maintaining your health to earn a 4-star rating on the game. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Select the blue and white PLAY brick in the lower left corner of the game’s welcome screen.
The welcome screen also contains buttons for full screen mode & sound control in the upper right corner and a yellow brick with a ? on it in the lower right corner offering how to play advice.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Use your mouse left click on a minifigure to jump over holes or dive out of the way of things General Mayhem throws at you.
  - Use your mouse left click and swipe upward to throw things at General Mayhem to slow down his attack.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - Tap the screen with one of your fingers to use it like a mouse.
    - Controls & indicators
      - Your cumulative game score shows at the top left corner of the game.
      - A white bar at the bottom of the game shows how much of the current level you have played through.
      - General Mayhem’s ship has 3 lights at the bottom which indicate its progress in getting ready to throw something at you.
        
        If you throw something at it when only 1 or 2 lights are lit that resets its cycle.
        
        The upper right corner of the game has 3 buttons to switch to full screen mode, control game sound, or pause the game.
        
        Each of your minifgures has green dots underneath it indicating health status.

        Click on a runner to dive out of the way of items General Mayhem’s ship drops on them.
        
        Click on a runner to jump over a hole in the ground.
        
        Click on a runner and drag upward to throw an item at General Mayhem’s ship.
        
        Health
        
        Each minifigure starts with 3 units of health, as indicated by green dots underneath them.
        
        When you start a new level you start with a full set of minifigures & each has full health.
        
        If General Mayhem hits you with something you lose a unit of health.
        
        General Mayhem throws things straight downward.
        
        You do not get hit by something which is already laying on the ground, but get hit if something falls directly on you.
        
        If you fall into a hole that character loses all its health.
        
        You have to click on each minifigure to jump them individually over the hole.
        
        Since falling in a hole costs all of you life it is vital to pay more attention to any holes than to General Mayhem.
        
        As you progress through the game you go from playing with 2, 3, then 4 minifigures at a time.
        
        While more minifigures means more lives, it also means more characters to keep track of when trying to make it over holes in the ground.
        
        If all of your minifigures die on a level your game is over and you start back at the first level.
        
        Scoring
        
        Your game score is cumulative across all 7 levels & you can earn up to 4 stars based on your total game score.
        
        Each minifigure which makes it to the end of the level is worth points.
        
        Minifigures with full health are worth 1,000 points.
        
        Minifigures which were hit once are worth 750 points.
        
        Minifigures which were hit twice are worth 500 points.
        
        Each time you hit General Mayhem’s ship with an item it is worth 20 points.
        
        It is worth hitting General Mayhem’s ship to slow down his attacks, but it generally is not worth risking getting hit or falling in a hole to try to sneak an extra attack in.
        
        Hitting him is worth 20 points, but getting hit by him costs you at least 250 points (unless it is the final hit on one of your characters, where it costs you 500) & falling in a hole can cost you up to 1,000 points, so you are looking at a 12.5x to 50x difference in point cost versus benefit.

        The game has no adult themed content.
