Play The Virus Invasion online for free. The Virus Invasion is a Pac Man-inspired maze attack game. Help the emoji survive the maze and collect as many pellets as possible. Flee from the viruses and collect pills to turn the tables on them. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

The game’s welcome screen heavily resembles the game’s first level, only the emoji character is walled off.
Select the play button on the bottom center of the welcome screen to begin.
Select the speaker button on the top left corner to turn the game’s audio on or off.
Select the rank button on the bottom right corner to view the game’s leaderboard.
You can save your game progress and high score on your web browser.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - With your keyboard, use the arrow keys to move.
  - Unlike Pac-Man, you have to keep pressing a direction to keep moving. If you do not press any direction you immediately stop.
  - Touchscreen devices
    - With your fingers, tap on the arrow buttons on the bottom center of the screen to move.
    - Controls and indicators
      - Top row (left to right):
        Speaker button
        Pause button
        Bottom row (top-down):
        Remaining lives
        Arrow buttons (touchscreen only)
        Game Play
        Basic rules
        Move the emoji around the maze and collect the pellets.
        Avoid making contact with the viruses.
        Collect pills to turn the tables on the viruses for a brief time.
        The viruses will run away from you while the pill’s effects are active.
        Catch viruses to send them back to the holding area at the center of the screen.
        After a few seconds, the viruses will get out of their holding area.
        Collect all the pellets in the maze to win.
        After winning a level, you can continue to the next one.
        Keep playing until you run out of lives.
        Lives
        You start the game with 3 lives. These are all the lives you’re getting through the entire playthrough.
        Each time you hit any of the viruses without the pills, you lose a life.
        If you lose all your lives, it’s game over.
        On the game over screen, you can add your name to the leaderboard if you want.
        You can also choose to share the game with your friends on Facebook or Twitter by hitting their respective buttons on either side of the screen.
        Scoring
        Each pellet you collect is worth 10 points.
        Each pill you collect is worth 100 points.
        Each virus you take out is worth 300 points. There is no multiplier effect when you defeat multiple viruses consecutively.
        You can save your score at the leaderboard after winning the level or reaching a game over.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like games inspired by Pac-Man.
        The game has no adult themed content.
